Elinor is a London-based psychotherapist available exclusively for self-paying clients. For those using insurance, please note that Elinor is registered with UK Therapy Registrations and is a member of both the British Art Therapy Association (BAAT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), but is not registered in Ireland. As a disabled and neurodivergent practitioner, Elinor requires access support for managing emails and invoices. Due to a busy practice and ongoing PhD studies, Elinor is unavailable on weekends and can be contacted Monday through Friday. To prevent a backlog of emails, we kindly ask that you limit correspondence to weekdays only. Invoices are generated by Elinor's access support worker on a monthly basis at the end of each month. Thank you for your understanding.
Elinor’s fees are as follows: Individuals: 93€ (£80) per session / Couples, Parent/Child, or Two Clients at the Same Time: 119€ (£100) per session / Family Therapy (Three Clients at the Same Time): 140€ (£120) per session / Additionally, I offer a reduced fee (in Euros only) for Couples and Family Therapy for long-term therapy
I am a London-based art psychotherapist and mentor. My services address the access barriers that so often fail autistic people and the many neurodivergent individuals who encounter barriers to quality mental health support and access to therapies, mentoring and support. I advocate for radical changes in the way we approach neurodivergent access in pedagogy, higher education, mental health services and therapy, and access to the arts.
The work I do with individuals is person-centred, and non-behaviour based, and I use methodologies and methods that respect human rights and sensory preferences of individuals, that are non-trauma inducing. I am a frequent writer and advocate for social justice, autistic/neurodivergent access and disability rights. I work to create a therapeutic space LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodivergent- affirming.
These are ND (neurodivergent) led therapy and mentoring services which means I strive to be an inviting, and inclusive space for individuals who are struggling to cope with their mental health and daily life. I usually see clients online. I work integratively, which means I work with you and tailor-fit our therapy to you and what you best need. I am a diversity-inclusive therapist who works with all clients regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, or disability.I aim to support you to reduce your immediate anxiety and crisis and together we shall create an environment where you feel relaxed enough to explore and develop your strengths, your skills, your resilience and coping mechanisms to continue your life journey. I am available for short-term and long-term therapy and/or mentoring sessions. We can also use art materials when words are too difficult to express, and look at the images as a means of expression.
You do not need to be an artist to access my services. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Association of Art Therapists. I have worked as an employment coach and autism/ADHD coach since 2002, Specialist Mentor and Art psychotherapist since 2010 and as an academic/study skills tutor since 2002.
As an access consultant and practitioner, I want to ensure my services are as accessible as possible so you can experience therapy with me verbally or through painting and mark-making. I am an anti-ableist psychotherapist, mentor and practitioner.
My background is in Education, Mental Health, and Disability and Wellbeing services in higher education, NHS, and the arts.
I look forward to working with you!
