Respect for Staff and Therapists:
All individuals, including therapists, access support workers, and administrative staff, must be treated with dignity and respect. Aggressive, hostile, or discriminatory behaviour, including ableist, racist, sexist, or otherwise harmful language, will not be tolerated.
Accessibility and Professionalism: Your therapist may utilize access support to enhance service delivery and ensure accommodations for disability-related needs. We ask clients to approach these arrangements with understanding and respect.
Zero Tolerance for Aggression or Discrimination: Any form of aggression, whether verbal, physical, or written, directed towards staff or other clients is strictly prohibited. This includes intimidating behaviour, threatening communication, or derogatory comments. Such conduct may result in the refusal to initiate services or the immediate termination of any existing agreements.
Inclusive Environment:
Violet Psychology proudly supports and employs therapists who are LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and/or disabled. Our practice is committed to creating an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and rejects discrimination in all forms.
Boundaries and Communication:
Clients are encouraged to communicate openly but respectfully about their needs and concerns. Constructive feedback is welcomed; however, personal attacks, accusatory language, or hostility are not acceptable and will result in services being declined or terminated.
Agreement:
By ticking the box in the contact form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the Safety and Respect Policy. Violations of this policy may result in the termination of services at the discretion of Violet Psychology.
